Fundraiser For Tabitha
It seems these days, whether we are young or old, all of our lives have been touched with the cruelty of cancer in some way. Cancer is so ugly but our God is beautiful and is so much bigger! This fundraiser was set up to help a beautiful, young woman who was touched in a very personal way pay for all of those ugly cancer medical bills. This is her story...
Tabitha and Josh have 3 beautiful little girls. They love each other, their family and most of all, their God! In May of 2009, Tabitha was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. As you can imagine, this was devastating news for Tabitha and Josh, their family and friends. However, from the beginning, they have held true to their faith in God and have persevered through the support of their loved ones!
Over the next 7 months, Tabitha underwent a colon re-sectioning surgery and 12 chemotherapy treatments. She then had to undergo surgery to remove 75% of her liver to remove the remaining cancer.
Tabitha's comeback from cancer is a testament that God performs miracles and she is one of them! Once a woman with cancer, the doctors are now considering her cancer free and Tabitha is thanking the one true living God for the blessing He has given their family!
